Featured Non-Linear Project - MyPro Training Program

MyPro Resumes & Recruiting needed a training program to ensure Writer consistency across client projects. An e-learning format and an iterative development approach was selected. The details and results of this process are described in detail below.
Process
Preparation
As a first step, I reviewed all previous attempts at training new Writers and the subsequent issues that had arisen. Next, I analyzed the various learners who would utilize the program and considered their perspectives throughout both learner and needs analysis. Additionally, I gathered all company resources and insights to be used within the project.
Initial Design
I determined an initial set of modules to cover the content (serving as a content SME) and reviewed these with another company process SME, making suggested modifications.
Initial Development
I then fleshed out each module within the design and developed supporting videos, examples, and tools. Again, I had the other process SME review these modules and incorporated their feedback.
Prototype
I built a prototype in Articulate Rise and then had a new company Writer complete the training program. She provided feedback about her experience and completed assessments that measured how well her learning aligned with the stated objectives.
Iterative Design & Development
The learning program was then revised again based on the insights from prototype testing.
Implementation
The second iteration was then rolled out and continues to be used by company Writers. It has become a job resource tool as well and is frequently accessed throughout the course of work. Continuous feedback is collected and incorporated into new iterations, as needed.
